2. These terms
These terms govern your use of www.atlanticfurniture.ie and any purchase you make through it. By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and accept these terms.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on our website at the time of your order.
3. Placing an order
When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you an Order Confirmation email. Until then, no contract exists, and we may decline an order — for example, if an item is out of stock, if there has been a pricing error, or if we cannot verify payment.
4. Pricing
All prices are shown in euros (€)and include VAT at the prevailing rate. Delivery is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay.
We try to keep prices accurate, but errors do happen. If we discover a pricing error before dispatch, we will contact you and give you the option to reorder at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
5. Payment
We accept major debit and credit cards, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay, processed securely by [Stripe / your provider]. We do not store your card details.
6. Delivery
Delivery terms, costs, and timeframes are set out on our [Delivery & Shipping] page and form part of these terms.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Title passes to us once we have received cleared payment in full.
7. Your right to cancel (consumer right of withdrawal)
If you are a consumer, you have the right under EU law to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. To exercise this right, email us at hello@atlanticfurniture.ie before the 14 days expire.
You must return the goods in their original condition and packaging within 14 days of telling us you wish to cancel. Return postage is your responsibility unless the item is faulty.
This right does not apply to:
– Made-to-order, custom, or personalised items.
– Items that have been used, assembled, or damaged by you.
We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, using the same payment method you used to pay.
8. Faulty goods
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under Irish and EU law. If your goods are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund, or price reduction. Contact us within a reasonable time of discovering the fault.
9. Warranty
All our furniture carries a minimum 12-month manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials or workmanship under normal domestic use. Some items carry longer warranties — see the individual product page.
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, or commercial use.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any single order is limited to the price you paid for that order. We do not exclude or limit liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Irish law.
11. Intellectual property
All content on www.atlanticfurniture.ie — text, images, logos, photography — is owned by or licensed to Atlantic Furniture Ltd and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce it without our written permission.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts. Consumers may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
